Windows 7 has got an excellent task bar thumbnail preview which displays a small preview of opened window on task bar when you move or place your mouse pointer on task bar icons.
But when you place or move your mouse pointer over task bar icons it takes some time to display the thumbnail, in mean time we can open the window which we want to open. This thumbnail feature of windows 7 can be made more productive by making it faster by this simple tweak which will speedup the task bar thumbnail preview.
Step 1. Click START and at search box type
Step 2. Now you will have to select the KEY in your registry editorregedit
Step 3. At the right panel of the registry editor window select MouseHoverTimeHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse
Step 4. Now double click on the MouseHoverTime and change the default value 400 to something less than 100. Lower the value faster will be the thumbnail preview.
Step 5. Click ok and close the regedit window.
Now you will feel the difference in task bar thumbnail preview speed.
