Use Check Boxes In Windows 7 To Select Multiple Files
Many to times we have to select multiple items like folders, files and many more in windows explorer to do number of actions like copying, moving, deleting or changing attributes, to select these multiple files and folders we usually use keyboard and mouse to do the same Ctrl+Click combination.
In windows 7 we have got the new feature of selecting multiple files and folders by just using mouse, by enabling this feature you can see check boxes above the icons of your files and folders using which you can select multiple files and folders by just using your mouse no need of pressing Ctrl key on you keyboard.
How to enable this feature..? read on....
Step 1) Open your Windows Explorer and click on the "ORGANIZE" and then select "FOLDER AND SEARCH OPTIONS".
Step 2) Click the VIEW tab.
Step 3) In Advanced Settings, scroll down and check the box to select "USE CHECK BOXES TO SELECT ITEMS", and click OK button.
Now you can see the check box to select multiple files just just your mouse.
