    sorry but i found the gom player to be more useful and less buggy than vlc

    I have not used Gom player ever............
    How does it looks and is it better than Media Player 12 beta 1

    VLC is the best << i don't think their is any 12.2 beta version released...not able to find it

    Nah,i'll stick with Winamp and itune and for videos i prefer VLC and Media Classic Player.

    Gom player is really helpful to play flash files it plays most of the formats.

    see, i brought you to the world of gom...

    because of gom i have uninstalled VLC.. (it messes with my windows 7 screen)

    and Gom doesnt.. Windows media is also good.. but Gom in all rocks..

    you know Gom was told to me from my IIT friend..

    his hard disk had it..

    so i installed it from it..

    he told me that Gom is sometimes better than VLC, and i found it always better than vlc..

    ^ IITians in Mumbai use KMplayer.. Quite a few dont know GOM exists

    it will work, but you need to do some R&D to bypass the validation check
    just extract(by winrar or 7zip) the files from inside of executable downloaded from MS website for WM player and then try to find the original Mpalyer installer exe instead of the fake exe which triggers the validation check

    will post the exact sequence of execution of executables if I get time

    For most purposes, VLC does the job for me very well.

    But I find that VLC starts yielding jittery image while playing DVD. Maybe some issues with settings, etc. So for playing DVDs, I use PowerDVD.

    this happened with me too, so i have given up vlc...


    i am using full time gom and wmplayer..
