Yes. Connectify is a very good tool for this purpose. Pity, it works only on W7.

In my post which you queried I have mentioned the same procedure of creating wifi hotspot , but I mentioned the procedure which will work in Windows XP / Vista,

Windows 7 needs special application."Connectify"
Windows XP : none needed.

Sometimes links are removed.
