    Default Review: Windows 7

    Hi!

We all know Windows 7 but theres not a review.this is for those who don't like Windows 7.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit here.

Microsoft Windows 7 was launched by Microsoft company on November 22, 2009.When Windows 7 was in beta, all liked it very much.It was like heaven. After 6 years, Microsoft launched a Fast, User Friendly, Good looking and reliable Windows.Remember??Windows Vista???lol it was looking good but was not fast.It was Buggy! Now Microsoft heard the complains and gave a positive feedback.WINDOWS 7.This was the most reliable version of Windows i have ever used!We can say that Windows XP took a rebirth in the form of Windows 7.

Windows 7 is sold out in 3 editions according to requirements user can buy:

    1) Windows 7 Home Premium
    2) Windows 7 Professional
    3) Windows 7 Ultimate

Windows 7 has a cool transparent taskbar and a good looking Start Menu. There is no Quick launch but u can Pin the Program to taskbar.Just like Quick Launch in XP.

Windows 7 also shows the space of even Removable Device.Thats little easy for us to see the space:

There's a feature called Compatibilty mode too!In that u can run old XP programs that are not working with windows 7.all old programs will run on it.u will rarely use it becasue u will fnd that almmost all programs are compatible with Windows 7.
Almost all programs that ran on XP and Vista run on Windows 7.But thats not case with drivers.Overall its very good looking thanks to the Aero Theme. Its reliable too! This is a Super Hit Windows version. It comes with Windows Media Player 11 that has great sound effects, Internet Explorer 8 is faster and safer and above all is XP mode in Professional and Ultimate Editions.XP mode provides XP in a box which helps u to run old programs that don't support Windows 7.

    I rate this Windows-
    5 stars out of 5.

very user friendly Windows.I recommend this version of Windows.

Hope u like this simple review. Thanks!

    Thumbs up Win 7 Wins.....

Yes, sure Win 7 is a great OS. I use Win 7 Home Premium 32 bit. Just a line of caution. Never use a win 7 crack on yr system, but go for the original OS only, Win 7 crack fails frequently and yr system hangs up. Maybe Microsoft Engineers made it that way.

But, let me say, "Viola" WIN 7 is great, works smooth (Make sure you have enough RAM capacity).

    Happy WINDOWING......

Yeah me too I use Win 7 Home Premium 32 bit in our new PC in office, and since its office PC software is genuine, original, its cool. I mean for some people it takes time to adjust to the new layouts.

I like the fact that you can see how much space is available in your hard drive.

    its really amazing!
but it needs min 2GB ram and I guess in few months it would be 4GB min.
The layout is clear its really nice its like heaven havent seen a crash report or so.
but for new users migrating from XP to Win 7 will take sometime to get used to.
    Hats off to this.

Minimum requirement for Win-7 is 1GB and its even less than Vista, AFAIK. But if you want fast and responsive system you have to use 2GB min.

@imrock - nice review mate, but one small correction, it launched on Oct 22 not Nov 22. (I launched it on Oct 25 at my home :P) . Also to remove confusion, people may find that in Indian market there is a Home Basic version of Windows 7 apart from the basic 3 versions which imrock mentioned. Well Home Basic version is only available in developing countries like India, with less in features & low cost.
@scoobz - during its beta testing period I have installed the Ultimate version in a machine with 768 mb of RAM & it did worked like a charm, of-course you won't be able to run huge applications like most of the PC games with that amount of RAM, but you can perform your usual pc works like working on Office products, browsing etc.
