Thread: How to: Create a system repair disk in Vista/7

Hi!

Sometimes, our windows is not booting because of corruption.Thats very frustrating when u need the pc.And then u have to install new Windows and install ur programs required like office and printer.Instead make a System Repair disk that will repair ur Windows and u will not need to install any softwares.So here i explain how to create a Windows Repair Disc easily and keep it safely and insert it to repair when needed.
This tutorial only goes with Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Here are the Steps-
1) Insert a blank DVD in your DVD drive.

2) Go to Start>All Programs>Maintainence>Create a System repair disc.


3) Click "Create Disk" and let the bar be full and ur system repair disc is created!


Now whenever u find ur Windows not booting up just insert the disc and set the 1st boot device to CD/DVD ROM.Now when u boot up from disc just select the "Start Repair" and ur computer is repaired.Now no need to install ur softwares.u will get the Windows settings of the date u created the disc.Very handy in case of urgent work and Windows not booting.And also when u can't restore ur system to earlier time then this may be useful.You can say that this is a Rescue Disk.
