    Wink Increase your PC`s Performance

All of us want our computer to be the fastest and should gives full performace all the time but we do not know what to do. This thread will guide you:

    1. Defragment your Hard disk:When we are creating a file or copying some file, the hard disk creates the file in fragments means it creates file there in 2-3 fractions. When we open that file, because of that fragments the opening and loading of the file slows down and thus Defragmentation of the hard disk is required. The best software available in the Internet is Diskeeper but it is not free, the best and free software isAuslogics.

    2. Remove Junk files: Some softwares does not removes there unwanted files automatically after these files are not required but these files slow down computers performance by much factor and also consumes spce in the hard disk thus junk file remover is required. The best junk file remover is CCleaner - Download

    3. Registry Cleaner: The unwanted and junk in the registry is required to remove as it slows down the startup of the computer so the best registry remover is Advanced SystemCare Free | Windows 7 Registry Cleaner | Free Registry Repair for Windows 7, Vista, XP, and 2000

    4. PC Startup Booster: It boosts the startup of your programs by giving them maximum priority in the task processes automatically. The best Startup Booster is Startup Booster - Speed up PC loading!

    5. Delete files for ever: When we click on the delete button on a file and after we empty the recycle bin, it does not mean that the files are deleted forever from the hard disk , this means they are marked as deleted but not removed and any recoverable software can able to recover it thus Unrecoverable deletion is required to increase the speed by not allowing the hard disk to read those deleted files. the best software for this purpose is Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download

    6. uninstall Completely: The uninstallation of the software are not completely done by the normal uninstaller of the software and thus a software is required to do this work, the best one available free on the internet is Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download

CCleaner is not the best but it is free. I use CleanMyPC and it gives much better options and controls. But it is payware.

You have taken effort to post this however i am just presenting my view so please dont get hurt. this post will help a lot for others. I am posting this as all your cases holds false when it comes to Windows Vista or windows 7. I hope this will clear misconception about windows Vista /7 and highlight its strong points.

Required if you use Windows XP or older. However Vista and Windows 7 are brilliant OS in managing data on disk. however if you still need to defrag HDD you can just right click on drive > Properties > Tools > Defrag Now

Again required for windows XP or older OS. Windows Vista and Windows 7 uses .Net framework at its Core and hence installing and uninstalling apps are breeze and again managed well by OS itself.
Also you can remove it manually. Right click on HDD Drive > Properties > you can see the option there.

Holds true for XP and applications built using VB 6.0
and .Net applications DO NOT store data in registry. it manages most of the tasks by using GAC folder of windows directory. Also, even if you have more registry entries or unnecessary entries it wont effect performance of your application.

May be required for noobs but not for experienced /power user. same can be done by 1. Not installing unnecessary softwares and using MSCONFIG (in RUN type MSCONFIG and hit enter)

I suppose this is not required and nothing to do with performance

same reason as posted above + ONLY required for windows XP.

BEST TIP : set your page file in drive other than OS and set it 2-2.5 times of your RAM.
