Thread: Random spots in the screen

I am running multi OS. Win XP and Win 7.

So, when i switch on the computer, the boot manager shows up.

Now, iam getting random black and white spots in the boot manager screen.
This appears only in the boot manager screen and not after i log on.

Also,these spots appear in windows screen which launches as soon as i select the OS.



Is this some kinda malfunction in my hardware or a corrupted os or a virus

I think its a dead pixel coz mostly it will come with LCD screens..
as i have a tiny grain black dot all the time in my LCD but its not annoying me, as its so ting and hard to catch easily...
Try using some dead or stuck pixel finding apps and run it and see is it still there in your desktop

Actually these spots are screen only in the multi boot screen. Moreover the windows icon is not in the center while starting.

are they appear at one place or at different places on the screen?

Well, these spots appear all over the screen.

Moreover, the windows icon which shows up at the startup is only half seen at the bottom
