    Sorry
My processor is AMD Phenom X4 925 (quad core) 2.8 ghz

I use chrome and have no problems regarding feeling ark or anything

Windows 7 runs all programs without issues but sometimes you need to disable DEP(data execution prevention)

DEP is a feature in windows that protects it from Viruses,or worms

It allows programs to access RAM upto 256mb
So if games etc require more ram,it crashes

Due to this users believe that no programs work properly in windows 7
So if we disable DEP for a particular program windows allows it to use as much amount of RAM
    as it requires.

Thats why disabling DEP is necessary

Perhaps reinstalling your network card drivers might help.

I use Firefox as my default browser.
I meant to reinstall the network drivers once and check if your problem is solved.

    Why you have two O/S
And you have Intel Core 2 Duo CPU and 2Gb Ram,are they sufficient for two O/S?
