Thread: Broad band connectivity

The broad band connectivity to my system gets severed after some time .only by disabling the net work connection and reconnecting the same works for sometime. My complaint to the service provider is being not attended to even after repeated requests. The customer service center is also help less as the connectivity is reported to be monitored/served from bangalore. Any of the forum member could help me to sort out. If the same is on account of my system, i shall correct the same. I am connected by pentium IV with win XP service pack 2. If the system is causing this type of disconnection, is there any way to rectify if the forum member or the service provider could suggest. The disconnection amidst browsing irritates.

Please also post in forum for your ISP, ( say BSNL/Airtel/MTNL etc)
with details of the modem/model/number.

Presume either BSNL or Airtel could be your ISP.
Surely BSNL ????!!!!!!

Nature of BB connection.
landline based / WLL /EV-D0/ wimax etc.

As support to XP has ceased in July 2010
better to upgrade to SP3 and other updates. till this date.

Post ADSl data showing SNR ATTN etc
Try mod mode GDMT
seems line trouble.
