hi

i have an ibm laptop r52, whenever i try to repair or disable the wireless connection, than the
laptop gets hanged, i am forced to boot again for working on my
laptop.......

(A)
Mention OS used : Windows 7 /Vista/ XP Sp2 etc or LINUX .

(B)
Also mention , whether you see any other wifi networks
( secured/unsecured ) other than your own SSID.

(C)
wifi router used

(D)
ipconfig /all
when working ONLY WLAN data. ( delete Tunnel info )
Copy/paste data here.

Which mode are you using ? PPPoE or Bridge (dialer) ?

To change DNS, go to Networks places > Select your connection > properties > TCP/IP properties > now you will find an option to enter the DNS of your choice.

If in bridge, switch to PPPoE and check.

In safe mode, the connection is better, but only marginally....

As far as Check entries in this page: values entered for DNS ?
