Thread: How to Burn VIDEO_TS folder on DVD

Dear All,

I had downloaded video in rar format.
After extracting it a yellow folder created.
Size of yellow folder is 4.34 GB
This yellow folder contains many files, which are beyond my understanding.
For the further detail of these file please refer the screen shot attached.

Now i want to write (or say burn in your computer language) on DVD so that i can play it on my stand alone SONY make DVD player which is attached to my 32 inches SONY Bravia LCD.

I have a Nero start smart 8.0 software.

Now my question is

How to burn this VIDEO_TS folder on DVD.

I have all ready spoiled one DVD and result is zero.

Please guide me till problem solves, like previous incidents.

Use " Make your own DVD video " option in Nero. Add video file and Nero will automatically encode it to the be played on DVD player.

" Make your own DVD video " option.

No such option is there in nero express. I use nero express.

I use nero 8 essentials...




IF you don't have such an option,

Just make a data DVD,

With a empty folder named "AUDIO_TS", and "VIDEO_TS"(which you have got), next to it and burn it into the dvd.

As per your adviseCREATED AUDIO_TS tellow folder and used nero express and then data dvd, then message display as shown in attached file.

Please do the needful or send nero essential details.

Don't burn the root folder ,

Burn only AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS

Please post a screen shot of your Nero interface. Browse through various options, you will find an option to burn " DVD video " or " Video DVD ".

You must be see an option like something in post 5.

There is only one way to learn something..."EXPERIMENTING"

Thats how I learned everything, nobody told me how to do things.
And its basically watch n learn.

Gain some confidence and start browsing through everything in ur PC.
Be cautious and cheers.

unko nahi aayega bhai.. koi aasan tarika batao..

Do not consider a master to your self.

Bhgvat Gita says that when such type of the master feelings aries in you that is is the sign of coming down from that hight of knowledge.

I admit that i do not know much in this computer subject it dose not mean that you make a fun of it.....

and i said unko nahi aayega because last night you seemed to be quite naive about advanced usage...

i am quite satisfied with my job, so right now i am not thinking of something else..
you should not come to decisions before thinking.. if i had to make fun of you,i would have said use nahi aayega in place of unko.. thats some kind of respect.. i thought maybe you are a middle aged person just like my father..

dude you got me all wrong here.. otherwise why i would be coming here??

Use the highlighted option in Screen shot no. 1. You need to add video files and it will take some time for compilation and finally it will burn. Please follow the instructions while moving through the process.

Problem solved or still acting as a problem?

By making AUDIO_TS blank folder my work done through nero.
As mentioned making video file through nero was not done may me i am not having nero essentials.

screen shots posted at post no 14 of my nero which i have and i want to burn my DVD through that only.

Actually my work is done but problem not solved.

Please do the needful.

I do not have nero express essentials. I have simply nero express as posted at post 14

Both have same interface...

Just go to the option (DVD Video files)
Add the VIDEO_TS folder

and burn it

VIDEO_TS is a folder for a video DVD. The VIDEO_TS folder contains a few files such as *.IFO, *.BUP and many *.VOB files.

The "TS" stands for "Title Set".

Many video DVDs also contain a (empty) folder called AUDIO_TS. This folder is irrelevant for video DVD but is applicable for audio DVDs. (DVD-A is different from a DVD containing *.WAV, *.MP3, *.AAC, etc.; in the later case it is just a data dvd containg music/sound files).

Anyway, you can use Nero to build a video DVD using the full set of *.ISO, *.VOB, *.BUP files. Here is how: Re-create a DVD from the full set of VIDEO_TS files
