Thread: Win 7 logon screen delay

i m using win 7 and ubuntu linux
after the boot screen of win7 the logon screen with the user names takes a lot of time to load msg displayed is PLEASE WAIT.... and it usually not happend
since i downloaded a torrent file ....... i have avast antivirus which got this torrent file infected
i immediatly deleted the file but one big mistake i made was .... it was a setup file i executed it without scanning during the installation process virus was captured by avast i ran a boot time scan and may tweaks i think formatting whole system could only solve

or In SAFEMODE: System RESTORE to earlier date ?

You can also delete old SR points retaining few dates.
Check Disk Free space "before" and "after" !!

your pc may be virus affected.try repair or format you drives
