    Question WINDOWS XP after WINDOWS 7 ? Possible ?

    Hi, I have windows 7 x64 installed and now I want to install Windows XP X64 . So can I install Windows XP after windows 7 and have dual boot ? Please help.

    It will give some trouble, but possible. If you are not good at start up repair and command prompt, better install XP in C drive and then install Windows 7.

    @Anish: Are u some kind of a moderator ? Because under ur name it shows Junior Member.

    So guys I assume its best that I have to install 2 windows back to back again ?

    Yes, if it is ok for you, a re-install will be better. Otherwise you will spend time recovering lost Windows 7 and will have to re-install both to get dual boot.

    You can also try Windows 8 Developer Preview. It seems to be good enough but still in Pre Beta. So may be using VMWare will be good.
