Thread: Internet download manager

i have IDM (internet download manager) installed and i use firefox, if i clik on a download link IDM takes over directly now ter are some sites (say filepost) which doesn't allow IDM to dwnld the file, now before IDM i used DAP (download accelerator plus) with firefox, by using DAP i had an option of choosing how to dwnld the file like dwnld with normal speed, dwnld with DAP, when i choose the specific option then my download starts with that option, but in IDM i don't see that option, so each time i need to disable the addon hence restarting the browser to take place the change tis is seriously a pain
pls help me with IDM

It is possible with IDM too. But I think you won't find the option in context menu. You need to check the settings for IDM and see the key to skip IDM taking over the download. Press this key and you are ready to use the Windows download manager.

You can try Jdownloader for file sharing sites than using other methods.

it's "alt" key.... i face the same problem with wupload, i press & hold alt key to prevent downloading from idm.

free download manager also supports torrents.. so you dont need a seperate torrent downloader..

Internet download manager is best software to download any file from the internet,IDM provides the link to download,where download link is not present.

idm is the best one to download the all content from the net.
i using the same, and it download at most of the speed of your isp so no need to set any speed limit in idm.
