Thread: RAM Updation problem

I recently updated my ram from 2gb to 4 gb. Though it shows updated in Bios congifuration my windows task manager still shows 2gb ram and still only 2gb is used not the 4gb..when i see the system properties it show 4.00GB(2.00GBusable).

pls anyone help me to sort out this problem

please check whether the ram is properly inserted or not either the port can be damaged....

which os are you using??? you may have to go into bios and check there
