    Default which is the best free internet security tools for windows 7??

    yes my question is which is best free internet security tools for windows 7?
    I've tried kaspersky internet security tool but it was only trial version for 30 days..i need only free not any trial version!

    1. Avast /AVG (both have their own advantages)
    2. Spyware terminator/Ad-aware/malwarebytes free version
    3. COMODO f-wall
    4. Winpatrol free version

    Apart from these tools, a good operator of the computer who has good knowledge and keep himselves uptodate like his antiware prog

    avast/avg is totally free??

    Hi,
    No amount of antivirus packages are going to help if the browsing habits are not strict. Please avoid going to dubious sites, clicking on dubious links, experimenting with all software, opening any pen drive etc., Best thing would be to install any Linux distributions on a separate partition and use it exclusively for internet etc., Use windows for games, media where linux is weak. USB pen drives can be easily opened in linux and viruses can be easily deleted and only good files can be transferred to windows partition.

    I have been using Microsoft security essentials for almost a year now and I find it alright. Its free and doesn't eat up too many resources.

    I've installed this free of cost product from microsoft now!
