it means that CRT is not supported with the graphic card and windows 7, better change graphic card and get windows 7 supported card

You have to keep in mind that when Windows XP was available, CRT monitors were still in wide circulation. By the time Windows 7 was released, most manufacturers and stores no longer stocked these monitors. Also, most games are released in HD nowadays and run at a high frame rate. CRT monitors cannot handle this and you could damage your monitor.

It's better to run your graphic card with a LCD under Windows 7 for the best experience. Also remember to keep your drivers updated at all times.

CRT monitors are old bad the manufacturers aren't making any changes in them. So that they could support the graphic requirements of latest OS. Therefore, if you are so serious about installing the new OS. You should buy an LCD or LED. So that the graphics requirements can be achieved by your system. Everything will then work fine.

Try to install drivers that came with the monitor and if that doesn't work, try to check compatibility issues because that might be the issue which causes the monitor not to function correctly.
