Default Anyone here who knows how to turn a USB into a Windows repair disk?

My dad's laptop is suffering from Infinite loop. It is only a notebook laptop so I dont think a repair disk will fit inside it. I heard there is a method that can turn a USB stick into a Windows Boot stick but I cant find ways how to make it. My dad's laptop have no DVD player but it has a USB port. Also How can I use that USB boot stick to repair an infinite looping laptop. I really don't know why that old laptop ends up infinite looping when my dad only uses it to send email and play Youtube videos. He don't play games or uses any memory heavy softwares.

I think, you need to download, the software unto the disk and set it up as a drive to install a new Windows unto the old system. I have used a usb, when my system crashed, to install windows onto the laptop, after changing the hard-disk also. You can find this at computer stores in your area, in my country there is a place called computer village, that is filled with everything you'll need in computer, phoning and other electronics gadgets, they have usb's that already have a windows root in them.

You can simply backup those music files on a USB drive, by making a Ghost drive. It will consume less space and you can also easily recover the data again. Making a ghost drive is not an easy process nor that much difficult task. There are tons of tutorials available on the Internet, dedicated to this topic of making a ghost drive. You can watch them learn and make backup of your data.

Norton Ghost is a program used to make ghost drives easily. It is a free software and can be downloaded from The internet. After that, you can run it and select the drive you want to make the ghost. Then select the destination drive like USB and then make ghost according to on-screen instruction. You can watch those Youtube tutorials to understand more clearly.

Are ghost drives going to work even in a PC that is currently suffering with infinite loop? I will try to find some tutorials on Youtube and I hope I will be able to find the ones I needed for this problem.

unless the hard disk is corrupted, you can access everything in the harddisk by booting Ubuntu from USB.

That sounds like an interesting option. I know Ubuntu is a variation of Linux. I didnt know it wont delete files if you use it for booting. I think I need to learn more about Ubuntu.
