Windows xp service pack 3 issues
This is a discussion on Windows xp service pack 3 issues within the Windows forums, part of the Operating Systems category; SP3 made my browsing slow and also my downloads were starting to become slow...so i uninstalled it....

Rep Power: 0  | I m also using SP3 downloaded from Microsoft. but i haven't face any problem, may be because my usages are not so high. But yes i also read a lot of comments from users that now a days they are facing problem with it |

Rep Power: 1 | No problems with sp3 whatsoever... i rarely switch off my comp and its working fine. I also slipstreamed my xp pro setup disc with it and installed without a hitch. |

Rep Power: 1 | No problem There is no problem with SP3. Happily using it, occasionally though.  As far as I know, most of the problems with Windows (whether XP sp2/3), are due to viruses (and pirated copies). I've never faced a problem in my genuine Windows XP. At home/office, I use Ubuntu, though, for other reasons like productivity. I feel like an old man when I use Windows XP. Yet to try genuine Vista.~ Pothi. |

Rep Power: 3 | SP3 is good for stability n security of system... though some older configurations slow down after upgrading... |
