Default Youtelecom 1 MBps ul plan issue

well as of youtele has started a 1 mbps plan unlimited for 14500
and i was gettin abt 118kb/s on torrents from a paticular tracker
but when i tried the other trackers the speed is only abt 25 kb

Is it because of the dynamic ip
as first i had the UL 192 plan and it was static ip and i used to get the exact 18-22 kb on torrents

zohan i have the same problem , im using the same plan, which by the way does not work to well if u do a speed test in the morning to early evening the speed is arnd 256 on a avrg, my torrents dont go above 30 kpbs? but downloads are much faster. a friend of mine on reliance with the 600 kbps plan gets downloads on 50 kbps in the day

This 1Mbps plan is a scam...... i am fed up of YOU people just thinking we are fools....i complained about their lousy speeds during daytime and they tell me since it is UPTO 1Mbps i will not get the speeds all the time.........their engineer says 80% TRAI regulation only applies to Business plans (whereas at the call centre they tell the opposite).........well the speed tests show 870-944 Kbps in the morning before 10am and after that 123-240 Kbps till midnight.........their scum engineers tell me to switch to business plans if i want constant speed.........any suggestions what to do ???

hi zeeba theres nothing you can do about it, except dump them, i cant as of now as reliance cant install their connection in my building and airtel as well due to some reasons , trust me once theses guys can install thei connections in my building i will rip the you telecom wire myself and throw it on the road the 1 mbs is a scam, they tried to fool me with their stupid knowledge on how the connection is divded into 8 and hence i will only get this speed in the day etc.. i even called them a dozen times and told them they are morons. they basically dont really have the bandwidth to have a 1mbs homeplan.

Default YOU telecom my biggest mistake

recently shifted to YOU from BSNL as BSNL512 plan was costing 1350 and you was giving it for 800 rs.Felt good for being clever and saving500rs.
First the rep came and took money for 3 months in advance promising installation in 2 days. After 10 days and countless call it was finally installed.
The download speeds i get is around 12Kb or 100kBps compared to bsnls constant 50-60 Kbps(450).shocked at the low speed i called them a couple of times.I got replies which really frustrated me.some of the replies given below
1)why not following TRAI 80% speed rule-ans -Only applies to business plan pay 8000 and get 512 kbps
2)you are getting 512 browsing speed as promised did not promise 512 download speed(never heard of this one)
needless to say stuck with these SOBs for 3 months and then running back to BSNL.
Please dont go for YOU telecom, you will regret it.
