Coz look at the rates carefully. For 96 kbps its 450/-; 2 times the speed, i.e. 192 its 650/-; and 2 & 2/3 times the speed, i.e. 256kbps, its 1500/- I bet some of you didnt get my point but to be very clear they are only after getting big customer base i.e. they want us to be their clients and not others like sify, exatt, pacenet, hathaway, zeenext, etc.. Dont get me wrong we all are pissed off by our providers and want to leave their service but we better check this so called YOU previously named iqara intensely. I think there is something fishy. I know one thing for sure that they dont deliver on their promised speed. need evidence? well read blogs or complains posted on various other sites like techtree from where i read it. One more thing check various blogs or complains on international sites coz this one has provided net in UK too. check their sites to be specific. Iqara or YOU is primarily a company providing natural gas. | |

| I am a member of Youtele or formerly Iqara (229615) Thought their top management seems to get the strategy right, when it comes to implementation its crap. I cancelled my membership 2 months back and even today they haven't refunded the amount due to me (1500 rupees). When I call the call center they say they cannot do anything and when I call their Hyderabad office, they give various reasons like employee on leave, their refund department is not contactable or sometimes they disconnect your call inorder not to speak to you. Third class service from a third rated company. I would advice you to stick with BSNL or Sify or Airtel broadband and completely keep off Youtele/iqara |

| Junior Member | I had been a customer of You Telecom (Formerly Iqara) for 2 years now and due to some accounting reasons I surrendered my connection and went for Reliance "Broadband" - and that is where the nightmare began. I got soo tired of reliance's stupid tactics that I finally surrendered my reliance connection today and re-opted for You Telecom. The reason being pretty simple. You Telecom provides static IP's to most of their post-paid customers (in unlimited plans, free of cost). And believe me, static IP is the way to be. The problem with Reliance and BSNL Dynamic IP system is that some if not most of the dynamic IP's are banned across the web (due to open proxies, virus spreading, etc). Of course the general user might not notice the difference, but when it comes to web hosting and Database access on a server - I got continuous 403 error (Access forbidden) due to those banned IP's. I know the plans are a bit on the higher spectrum, but the best thing about You Telecom is the easy availability of technical support (as the local office handles everything). I never had to wait for more than 12 hours to get technical support. A word of caution here - DO NOT opt for post paid schemes ( I committed the mistake earlier and so am warning you). You'll be surprised at the total lack of transparency in the bill. Rather, opt for the pre-paid service and you'll be a happy camper. Cheers Vzx |

Rep Power: 0 | Hi Friends, I would like to suggest you people not to opt for YOU telecom broadband internet. The reasons are given below: 1. They will charge extra (rent) for the modem and speed is also than the specified speed. Speed check page will not work at all. 2. If we register a complaint, technicians will come only in the nights. 3. They will not send the money collection agents to collect the money from home. 4. The call centre phone number is NOT TOLL FREE. The call center number is always busy. some times we need to wait for more than 10 mins and the call may continue upto 1 hr. 5. There would not be any local number to register complaints. 6. Call center is not 24 Hrs working. 7. Even the SMS to YOU tele also will cost more than the regular SMS tariffs. 8. Some of Call Center employees argues and says wrong words. 9. Even for the small problems, they will take more than 24 Hrs. 10. I registered a complaint 7 days back, till they didn't rectified. Every day I will call to CALL CENTER, they will say the problem will be recified by tomorrow morning. But it was not happening. Still my complaint not got rectified. 11. The support/service in HYDERABAD is very bad. They are not at all tell the correct stuatus. They are not interested to talk the customers and they will cut the phone in between of the discussion. So What I am suggesting is not to opt YOU tele in Hyderabad. |
