Thread: Can I use BSNL's Dataone wireless router with YOU broadband

Hi,

I used to have Dataone subscription. As we have moved to a new location where Dataone service is not available, I have subscribed to YOU Broadband.

So, YOU Tele guys have given me a ordinary modem. Is there any possibility where in I can connect my Dataone router to the YOU broadband and get the wi-fi?

Yes, you can. It's not actually a 'Dataone router'. You can use it with any other service provider.

Please mention the modem make/model/number and confirm it is an ADSL modem and not CABLE MODEM ( probably Motorola Surfboard )

Please give details of BSNL "router" also.

no u cant use dataone route/modem with YOU broadband as it is not cable modem
