    Default is youbroadband good?

hi. i am currently having bsnl dataone internet connection now. But i want to migrate to youbroadband because i am attracted to their unlimited plans i saw in their website, youbroadband.in.it is day 192 kbps and night 1 mbps. and cost is around 700 rs. so is youboadband good? are there anyhidden costs and other things??

one more question, can i use my bsnl data one modem instead of renting modem from them? By this i will save 500 rs. my modem model no is WA3002G4. here is a pic.

pls give me some good advice. thanks in advance

    Default YOU will regret

They have a horrible service. The customer service is horrible and you will not find anyone to resolve your queries. I had subscribed to their services in Mumbai three months back, and a hell lot of a time in getting the modem installed. They took around 15-20 days to install the modem after n number of follow-ups. They had promised to give credit for the days lost, but now have disconnected the line. Further, they also have downtime every now and then for a few hours of the day. My sincere advice would be to stick with BSNL or to take some other service provider other than YOU.

its best for gaming best pings among most of isp's.no lag at all but depends on area to area check at your area for availability. im using 12MB plan works flawlessly...

Please read the many Tikona horror stories on this forum first.

    Exclamation all ISPs suck

Well yeah, i know all ISPs suck. But at present i have the good fortune of having 2 different ISPs in my home for 2 different PCs. So i can compare between Tikona & You BB services as given in my area (their standards of services differ in different areas i guess). I'm also probably one of the people who vented against Tikona in the forums here (their dialer always disconnects multiple times). But at present, getting a ping spike of 40-400 on You BB is just unacceptable. So i have no option but to go back to slightly less worse service of Tikona. I opened the same YouTube video and another site's video on both PCs. The Tikona 1 mbps connection loaded the video faster than the 12 mbps You BB. How can this be acceptable?

Never had any problem with youbroadband. 99.99% uptime, full speed as advertized, excellent customer support(never required actually ), engineers had excellent knowledge.
However i have switched to dvois ssv now because its cheaper than You broadband.
