Presume now you have "YOU" cable modem connection.
Which is the cable modem supplied to you /
ISP says d/N U/l unlimited plans not available for WIFI use.

Try ebay.in Adslmodem+router+wifi
Netgear DG834G etc .
Better to buy from local computer dealer , so that in case of
any problem free replacement is available within Guarantee period.
if you buy on line courier charges etc will be high, and local Courier service/post office may not accept electronic items
