Exclamation Apple Mac - configuring you broadband

    Greetings,

I have a MacBook Pro laptop that I would like to connect to internet via ethernet cable and Motorola modem, just like my PC. So when I disconnect ethernet from PC and plug into laptop, internet should work on laptop.

I have copied LAN and PPPoE settings exactly (as much as possible, there are slight differences in Mac vs Windows config screens) but still I can not get it to work on mac. Even the test account (username - nocsupport, password - testing) fails to connect and I get the error "unable to find PPPoE server" or similar.

Even the tech support guy gave up saying its an issue with my laptop but I know this is unlikely to be the case.

Has anyone done this before and can they tell me their settings for both ethernet/lan as well as pppoe?
