Thread: You broadband review

Ok ,to start with this is an old thing but I couldn't help posting it since all my data regarding it has been lost .

I started getting insane speeds of 600 Kilobytes per second to 400 Kilobytes per second On youtube downloads..roughly around the max bandwidth their cable could support.
If i wouldn't get that speed i would request a download then stop then after a few mins start it again..and i would get that speed then
So i guessed You broadband was creating their own reserve of videos that users on their network requested/browsed on youtube on a private server ...
When we got the address I couldn't believe it..
They had made a huge catalog of all the video content websites (Even Adult ones) and had direct links to them!
Youtube ones were coded to their original link name..
Does anyone know about this?
It is a very smart thing to do on part of ISPs..but it didn't work the same way later after a month or so..but the cached catalog would be there..
There was also a link where you could watch the detailed history of the ANY user on the YOU network -which websites he surfed at specific times..graphical analysis etc
How to know the servers that have been created for such a purpose ?
Is it illegal on our part?
