Default You broadband wifi router selection

    Hi friends and members,
I have recently installed 12mbps hurricane plan but they gave me a cable modem 'motorola surfboard SB5101' which is very inconvenient for me when i want to move around in my house with my lappy. Can you kindly suggest me a good compatible wifi router for me ? Or is it possible for me to get any wifi router, connect the ethernet cable from the generic wired router to the wifi router and transmit the wifi signal locally ??? Please help me sort out this problem.

Dlink / Linksys / TPlink etc > enquire in local computer store
and give your selection with prices.
A cable rj45 from Motorola Lan1 to be connected to WAn port of wifi router. Connect another rj45 to laptop and recheck

    option 2:
    ADSLmodem+4lanport +wifi router
    Buy a 3-in-1 ( adsl modem +4lanPort+wifi)
Can be also used but setting up can be a problem.

But can be used when you opt for a Landline based BB connection.
