Thread: Broadband from YOU Telecom, Dont go for it, very worst Service

Please dont go for YOU Telecom. Their service is very worst. If u book any complaint, they wont consider it. If u call again, nobody will even tell u the responsible answer.

Their default Answer:
" Our Executive will call u tomorrow regarding this".
But nobody will call u, if u call again, they will tell u the same answer.

Why i am telling is.....
When i was using this service, i got improper bill for consecutive 3 months. I checked with my MB usage, Actually they have charged me double the amount of real bill. Each month i have argued with them about the improper bill. And i went the Chennai You telecom office which is located in "Haddows road". They are fraud guys. They told, it will be cleared with in 24 hours. They did not do anything regarding this. I paid double the amount for three months. I decided to close my account, i handovered every thing.(modem, power adaptor). i closed my account before 7 months.
Now i am arguing with them(Chennai office guys, and customer care) to get my caution deposit amount. I went to chennai office chennai office many times.

Their default answer,
"You will get it with in 15 days." Fraud Guys."

But still i did not get my caution deposit... decide yourself after reading this document whether u want to go for YOU Telecom

YOU is such a disgusting provider that you would spend 5 times the monthly subscription on your telephone bills and petrol charges and yet it does'nt work.

They took 1 month to come and install yet billed for the 1st month ,then you need to call them every day,it works for 1 day and then you need to lodge a complaint,after some 25 calls and waiting for 4 days somebody comes and fiddles something and says it would work within 2 hours.....NEVER again you have to call them 20 times and it works for another day again same story.....

I came from abroad hoping to work remotely in the 2 months of my holiday,but I could not work for more than 3 days in that 60 days...they charged me bill for 2 months....finally when I decided to cancel it....they say somebody would come within 2 weeks and till then we have to pay the rent......I took the modem etc and literally threw at the reception....then they said I would get my caution deposit within 45 days and now it has been 6 months.............!!!!!!!!

I hope any sensible fellow after reading my story would decide whether to go for YOU

I have heard even worse stories about You broadband ... I have actually spent more then a week trying to get someone's you broadband connection up an running but their employees are not the ones you would want to deal with atall.

Their customer support is just sitting there to listen to complaints and do nothing abou it.

If I am not wrong its BT (UK) who has a majority share in it..

I suggest you get either an Airtel connection if its available in your area or go for Bsnl broadband if airtel broadband is not available there.

Some friends of mine use it here in Pune - they said it is fine. But I do not trust these cable ISPs.

I find it as most disgusting ISP. I had very bad experiences with them many times. I have 4 continous posts in my blog, explaining the whole story.

I have understood one mroe thing by taking the connection- my mobile number is not secure any more. Bcoz they have just given my number to every body.
