Bangalooru (Bangalore) is considered as the Silicon Valley of India. All of the big IT campanies talk about the infra structure of Bangalore, Roads, traffic, garbage etc.

Today internet is something we consider as a basic necesity. For students www is a knowledge bank. Some may not agree on this and say that www is bad for kids. Well a knile could be use to stab a person but still we use it daily in the right way. Its the same with the World Wide Web.

Even though countries like Singapore we see that broadband highspeed (consider the bandwidth) connection is so cheap compared to india. Also the quality of the services provided.

If we are to succeed and become a super power then we have to provide quality Internet services too in addition to other infra structure. And not only to the big IT companies but to the general public too.

What do you think?

I completely agree with you.....
they should consider revising the charges they have rite now.....

coz u have to pay really high sums for a measley 256K Limited downloads conn.

All of these ISP's ppl and their various franchises are ************s. No Really. They wanna get millionaire overnight. Thats why they are giving us so low bandwidth. TRAI has defined broadband in this country but still they dont provide us unlimited usage and broadband speeds. Why? Everyone here is with me. Its the only thing these ISP's and co. wants, is to become overnight millionaires. They think since IT industry is booming, they can make profit out of it. Also they think only IT industry needs it. And that is why they charge so much for so little. Any disagreement please come forward and argue. I am open to it.

these are a bunch of no good losers handling the ISP's...... (yes MTNL i am pointing at you)

kind of agree but please consider this fact;
how big is india compared to singapore?
i've been there few times and yes, they have everything with acceptable rate.
why? they're very very small and there's so much competitors..
things wouldnt be the same as india
if we want to do about the same here, the cost is very expensive comparing with them.
