I would like to know what all unlimited broadband options are available in Bangalore. The connection is for my brother who is shifting to Bangalore for work purposes. The monthly budget for the broadband connection is Rs1200 per month and speed should be at least 2-3mbps.

There are plenty of options :
    Airtel broadband
    Reliance broadband
    Tata broadband
    BSNL broadband
and many more. You probably have most amount of broadband providers available at Bangalore as compared to other cities. Just check tariffs at their official websites and pick the one that suits you.

Decent tariff plans. I didn't know that ACT unlimited broadband plans, j think this is something good the only problem is that if the download exceeds to more than stated the speed afterwards would be real slow.

This is same with any service provider. But ACT 's FUP limits are higher compared to others.

Reliance is one company in India which offers a real NO BARRIER Fup Plan...My monthly download exceeds 500 + GB with a decent 8 MBPS connection round the clock with D/L upto 1.2 MBPS and Upload 2 MBPS.. I pay just 1600 +Taxes per month...I'm from Southern India...And they are asking for FDDH kind of Plan like one from BSNL ,,direct Optic fiber to home if there is a reliance Tower very close to your home or work premises... They have given me the launch from Feb 2015 when their 4G is launched... So try Reliance if you download or Upload in bulk... ( I'm going to get access for FDDH Reliance from Nov 15 onwards on Trial basis, since i'm a longtime customer of Reliance @ promised speed of 24 MBPS in 1:1 Ratio at just 2000 Rs +Taxes) Just check the Thunder Plans of Reliance in Rcomm Website!!

You are mixing up two different companies who operate separately from each other. Reliance 4G is not run by Rcom. If you have a cable broadband connection from Reliance right now then it is Rcom not Reliance JIO. 4G is going to be launched by Reliance JIO not Rcom.

I dont know about that,,But Reliance Infocomm has undertaken the Trials as of now... I'm proud to be test the reliance 4G Broadband as FDDH one..Once the trial period is over,It'll be cancelled and I have to apply thro Reliance JIO..I think...The trial period is for 3 Months...I've opted for the 24Mbps plan unlimited... Muhahahaha..But as of now they planned to give a Limited one as 24 MBPS with 300GB Limit....

I'm in Bangalore right now visiting my inlaws who have Hathway. Their service is pretty decent (although I can't get a 1mb vpn link to my work back home even with their 50mb plan), but none of their offerings, even for businesses, is unlimited without a penalty after a certain amount of data transfer.

It's basically a metered service no matter who you use, which is analogous to US carrier Sprint's cell phone data plans, which drops to a slower rate after a certain amount of data transfer. Better to determine what type of data transfer needs you have and just get the right plan with a reliable provier.
