After the big move on BSNL free night time usage being stopped, BSNL will now be removing all their current GSM prepaid plans and just leaving the Pyari Jodi plan and Roaming Tariff Plan. Instead of the current plans BSNL will be launching two new plans which would match up with the plans currently available from other service providers.
For users who currently on the current plans they will be able to use their plans until the validity expires.
The new new plans which have been introduced by BSNL for prepaid mobile users are:
- BSNL new minute plan, cost of the plan will be Rs37 with a top up of Rs70 which makes a total of Rs107
- BSNL new second plan, cost of the plan will be Rs36 with a top up of Rs70 which makes a total of Rs106
Both of the plans provide BSNL users full talk time on top up vouchers which are Rs200 and above, but this will only be for a select few circles.
This effect has taken place as of 1st August 2014.
Along with the new above mentioned plans, BSNL have also introduced a new STV plan which is Rs97 and is named Friends & Family. This plan provides free 60 minutes talk time to any network and also reduced call and SMS charges to a select five numbers.
