Prepaid is better than postpaid plans

Prepaid mobile plans are better according to me as they are cheaper and you can have better controlled calling.

Prepaid mobile plans are very suitable and beneficial to younger users and students. You are charged as you use so there is no late fees and other miscellaneous charges added on.

Prepaid are easier to buy then to get a postpaid connection which involves a lot of documentation and credit checks. If you say post paid are better for emergencies as prepaid calling is enabled only if you have balance then well you can keep an extra recharge card but today vodafone offers this new facility called VX credit where you can recharge with just a text message in emergency.
Prepaid mobiles have a lot of offers these days like 20% extra on recharge free call time and others, also if you have another exiting new service provider switiching would be easier on prepaid.
Prepaid can be cheaper to you if you have irregular pattern of making calls like one month you make a lot of calls and another month you make very few calls, in post paid you will have to pay fixed charges irrespective of use.

hmmm. actually noone is better or poor...
postpaid is a different thing.. it gives you unlimited credit. you can add and disable features as you want, while in prepaid most of the things are pre-activated(read ISD, GPRS, DATA PLANS) which can be wrongly being used.
i myself prefer prepaid, but people like my Father, usually like such postpaid plans which they can use flawlessly..(he doesnt want to walk out to recharge the mobile at shop:P )

You can not actually say one is better than the other! Both prepaid and postpaid connections have their own advantage, it actually depends on the user, the calls they make, where they make them and how long for.

Postpaid FTW caus i'm a gamer and i need a constant speed with no fluctuation and only postpaid can provide me this kind of service

Aman how does a connection being prepaid or post paid make any difference to speed or stability. Moreover this thread is about mobile phone service not data connection.

Certainly here we have to ensure our interests. Sometimes a rate plan sounds tempting for the subsidy that we provide on the mobile device, but eventually ended up paying more than we should, especially if we do not have strict control of our minutes and / or messages. Prepaid have the disadvantage of having to pay a hefty amount if we are a good team, but would only use what we need per month and if you ever need it can not just not buy air or internet time, we can also avoid spending money using a credit card or other installment options.

I don't think prepaid is better than postpaid in all aspects. Both have their own merits and demerits. The plan that suits a person would not be suitable for another person. So, it largely depends on the choice.

Prepaid is definitely suitable for students and other people who have a limited budget and also wanted to keep the phone usage in limit. It is very budget friendly and will keep you alert after each call. Whereas in post paid plans it is difficult to track your spending on calls, texting etc. But postpaid plans are good for those who use phones extensively in a month. By opting a tailor made post paid plan you could really benefit on financial terms. In post paid plans there are a lot of options to choose from.

So, post paid plans are good for those who spend moderate to high amount on phones. Prepaid is good for people who have strict budgetary constraints.
