Tikona -Chennai FEEDBACK

Guys,

would any of you provide feedback on Tikona (speed/service) in chennai?

i feel Circuit Breaker plan CB299 would suit my need. its 2bmps plan (only for first 1GB and then 64 kbps).

I feel 1GB data download will be suffice for me.

can someone tell me can i get atleast 50-60 kbps while doanloading ?

i'm residing at Tirumangalam (AnnaNagar-West).

not only for Chennai overall Tikona is fit only for browsing.

no downloading, no gaming....

due to frequent disconnection it will be frustrating to use rapidshare and megaupload.

TIKONA is suitable for browsing, checking mail and only social network

My cousin says that Tikona is good in Chennai.

Believe me Tikona is horrible as far as i am concerned. I got a Tikona connection in Triplicane. From day one I faced lot of problems either no signal or very bad signal. Bullshit talking to the customer care. One of my colleagues who lives next to my street faced similar problem only to end up with lotta quarrel with the customer care and finish the connection. Tikona sucks.

Off late, I am reading a lot of bad feedback about Tikona. They are just starting their services in Varanasi and relying heavily on advertisement. The online advertising from Tikona can be seen on almost all tech-related websites through Google Adsense.
Looks like they are compromising quality with marketing efforts. Not a good strategy.

Might as well get a old-fashioned dial-up modem. This sort of plan is not broadband.

am frm chennai,mogappair...i got my tikona installed within two days of request n till now no prob...my plan is FIXED MONTHLY CHARGE 599....its thing is that for first 4 GB u get 2 MBPS of speed n for rest u get 256 KBPS speed....its an unlimited plan...n its good...

My cousin says that Tikona is good in Chennai.

So far no adverse comments in this forum about wifi WI5 ( Zylog)
1 Mbps unlimited Rs 550/=PM.

Tikona Sucks Really , Was Suffered a lot from the past 3days without having netconnection...

i have scolded alot each and every person in the customer care , finally the team leader told me , the backend ppls never opened my complaint

got frustrated and fired the sales manager who book the connection , he is telling me ... sir the technical ppls will not come , better u disconnect the connection i will ask apologies for the mistake ... thats quite funny really

Finally i got area service eng mobile number and informed this issue

he responded me as soon as possible ... with in few hrs i got my connection

Tikona is Really Nice connection . untill there is no problem

Once Started Giving Problem .. Later you have feel for their customer care , technical person and TL Too
